SIAN NORTHEY - PHYSIOTHERAPIST

Born and raised in Whangarei, I made the move to Hamilton after graduating with a Bachelor of Health Sciences: Physiotherapy from AUT in 2017.

I have been based in Hamilton since and now see Waikato as home, though I do miss the 100 beaches that Whangarei has to offer!

I am passionate about musculoskeletal physiotherapy and am particularly interested in sports-related injuries and rehabilitation through a mixture of exercise prescription and manual therapy, including dry needling.

I have a keen interest in adolescent and youth injuries and enjoy working with young athletes to reach their potential. 

I have experience working closely with a number of athletes and sporting codes including rugby union, sevens, touch, rowing and gymnastics. 

I have always been an active person and have been involved in a number of sports in the past, which has given me insight into the athlete's perspective when treating an injury.
