ABOUT OLIVIA
Hi, I’m Liv, and I have recently moved to the Waikato region from Australia. I have over five years experience as an Exercise Physiologist, working across a broad range of conditions including neurological conditions, metabolic conditions, and musculoskeletal presentations.
I bring specialised knowledge in women’s health and invisible illness, with a particular interest in conditions that commonly co-occur. I understand how complex these presentations can be and aim to see each person as a whole, rather than focusing on a single diagnosis.
My areas of interest include endometriosis/pelvic pain, exercise during pregnancy, returning to exercise and sport postpartum, perimenopause and postmenopause support, exercise support for urinary incontinence or pelvic organ prolapse, PMOS, dysautonomia (eg. POTS), hypermobility and EDS, persistent fatigue conditions (eg. long COVID and ME/CFS), osteoporosis prevention and management, and RED-S and athlete development support.
A large part of my work involves empowering people through education about their conditions, particularly those living with invisible illnesses. By building understanding and confidence, we can work collaboratively to design an individualised exercise approach or program that supports your goals, health, and wellbeing.
Outside of work, you’ll usually find me running, getting lost in nature, or relaxing by the fire with a good book or knitting my next project.
